My name is Jennifer Titus, and I am from Nasarawa State, Nigeria. Professionally, I wear several hats: I am a lawyer, a public relations executive, and a talent manager. At my core, I am passionate about helping people and building things that create lasting impact. Whether I am advising clients, managing talent, negotiating opportunities, or shaping public narratives, I enjoy being part of journeys that help individuals and organizations grow into their full potential. Outside of work, I am a proud aunt and godmother. Some of my greatest joys come from spending time with my nieces, nephews, and godchildren, watching them grow, celebrating their milestones, and being a source of love, guidance, and support in their lives. Family means a great deal to me, and I cherish the relationships that keep me grounded and remind me of what truly matters.

What motivated you to do this?

I’ve always loved the entertainment industry. Long before I became a lawyer, I was the girl who was fascinated by music, film, fashion, and everything in between. I actually tried modelling while I was in school, but between lectures, assignments, and the of school, something had to give, and modelling drew the short straw. At the same time, I had always wanted to become a lawyer. Law was never a backup plan for me it was something I was deeply committed to pursuing so once I got called to the Bar, it felt natural to find my way back to the entertainment space.

How long have you been doing this and what drew your attention you to it?

In many ways, I’ve been interested in the entertainment industry for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been drawn to creative spaces, especially music. Even as a student, I paid attention to artists, their careers, and the business behind their success. Professionally, I began working within the industry after becoming a lawyer. Once I was called to the Bar, I realized I could combine my legal training with an industry I had always loved. I became intentional about learning, taking courses, reaching out to people already in the space, asking questions, and seeking mentorship wherever I could find it. Over time, that journey expanded beyond entertainment law into public relations and talent management, allowing me to work more closely with creatives and contribute to their growth in different ways

What do you enjoy most about what you do now?

The opportunity to be part of people’s journeys. Whether I am advising a client, negotiating a deal, managing talent, or helping shape a public narrative, I enjoy knowing that my work contributes in some way to someone else’s growth and success. I also love the diversity of what I do. No two days are exactly the same. One day I may be reviewing contracts, another day I may be discussing strategy with an artist, managing a project, or helping to solve a completely unexpected problem. That variety keeps things interesting and constantly challenges me to learn and grow. Most importantly, I enjoy working with creative and ambitious people. There is something incredibly rewarding about seeing an idea become a reality, watching talent develop, and knowing that you played a role, however small, in helping someone achieve their goals. Those moments make the work worthwhile.

Can you describe a challenge you’ve faced in your role now and how you overcame it?

One challenge I’ve faced is breaking into the entertainment industry without having a roadmap or many connections. It can be difficult finding opportunities in a space where relationships and experience matter so much. I became intentional. I took courses, sought mentorship, asked questions, and wasn’t afraid to start small. Over time, those efforts opened doors and helped me build credibility.

What keeps you motivated and driven?

Seeing women who look like me excel and do incredible things in this field. Their success reminds me of what is possible. Also, I like nice things. Money is always a good motivator.

How do you stay updated and continue to grow?

I stay updated by continuously learning. I take courses, attend trainings, read, and learn and ask a lot of questions from people who have gone ahead of me. I never want to be the smartest person in the room, so I try to stay curious, ask questions, and remain open to growth.

Can you share a significant accomplishment or project you’ve worked on recently?

Honestly, I see every project I work on as an accomplishment. That said, opening my own firm is probably the accomplishment I’m most proud of.

What goals do you have in the near future?

I hope to grow my law firm, build a successful PR firm, and continue expanding my footprint in the entertainment industry. Most importantly, I want to keep becoming the kind of woman I once looked up to.

How do you maintain work-life balance, and in what ways does your faith influence your motivation and vision?

Honestly, I’m still learning how to balance it all. Some days are better than others. But I’m fortunate to have amazing friends and family in my corner. My friends are truly angels in my life, and my family keeps me grounded. My faith influences everything. It shapes how I approach both the good days and the difficult ones.

How have marriage or significant relationships impacted your personal and professional plans?

I think the people we love inevitably shape us. The significant relationships in my life have taught me important lessons about communication, grace, resilience, and growth. They’ve influenced my plans by reminding me that while ambition is important, relationships matter too.

How do you see what you’re passionate about evolving in the coming years, and what steps are you taking?

I see my passion evolving into something bigger than my imagination. As for the steps I’m taking, I just keep showing up and doing my absolute best.

What will you tell your younger self?

I would tell my younger self to put herself out there earlier and stop second-guessing herself. Most of the things I worried about never happened, and some of my best opportunities came from simply showing up. Trust yourself. Take the chance. Send the email. Apply for the role. You’ll figure it out along the way.

Hi, I’m Olawumi Oladejo, and I’m 25 years old. I’m a content writer, a ghostwriter, and I’m also a fashion designer.

What motivated you to do this?

I’ve always loved seeing words beautifully woven together, and that made me want to write and tell stories of my own. I’ve always loved fashion and was really interested in learning how to make my own dresses.

 How long have you been doing this and what drew your attention to it?

I used to write poems as a teenager, but I started writing essays and articles about 5 years ago, honestly just because my friend believed I could write. As for fashion, it started as a hobby when I picked up using my mom’s old sewing machine. I also started learning how to sew around the same time as a teenager.

What do you enjoy most about what you do now?

The fact that it doesn’t feel like a chore. I love being able to write content that people can relate to and tell stories that they actually want to read. I also really enjoy sewing. I could honestly do it all day without getting tired. And I love that I get paid to do the things I love to do.

Can you describe a challenge you’ve faced in your role now and how you overcame it?

One of the challenges I’ve faced is dealing with clients who don’t communicate well. It can be difficult, but I’ve learned to ask important questions before starting any project.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

What keeps you motivated and driven?

The passion I have for what I do. I thoroughly enjoy what I do, it keeps me grounded all the time.

How do you stay updated and continue to grow?

I’m a big believer in continuous learning and upskilling. I take new courses, watch YouTube tutorials, and read books on the things I do.

Can you share a significant accomplishment or project you’ve worked on recently?

Last year, I wrote a story for a client that later turned into a movie, and I got credit as the writer. That was my first time working on a film script.

What goals do you have in the near future?

I want to work with different brands as a brand storyteller, write my own book, and teach people how to write better. I also want to build my fashion brand into something worthwhile.

How do you maintain work-life balance, and in what ways does your faith influence your motivation and vision?

I’d like to believe I’m doing a great job balancing it all. Even when it feels like I’m doing more work than anything else, it can get hectic sometimes, but it’s worth it.

Being a believer has also shaped the way I see things, tell stories, the kind of contents I write and how I present myself to the world.

How have marriage or significant relationships impacted your personal and professional plans?

I wouldn’t say any relationships have impacted my personal or professional plans.

How do you see what you’re passionate about evolving in the coming years, and what steps are you taking ?

I see content and fashion merging in interesting ways.  There’s so much storytelling happening through fashion now, and I want to be at the forefront of that. I’m taking steps by experimenting more, collaborating with people outside my usual circle, and being more intentional about the projects I say yes to. I’m also working on building a stronger online presence to showcase both sides of what I do, because I think that’s where the real opportunities will come from in the next few years.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

What will you tell their younger self?

Grab opportunities the moment you see them. Don’t overthink things, you can always learn on the job. What they will tell their younger self. Don’t be anxious about knowing how and when it will happen. You’ll definitely figure it out as you go.

‎Why does it seem like some people find the right path effortlessly, while you’re left trying, failing, and starting again? Why do some locate the right “well” to dig almost immediately, while you keep digging and hitting dry earth?

‎In those quiet spaces, comparison creeps in. Doubt settles. And slowly, you begin to believe you are behind. But the truth is simpler and kinder: You are not behind. You are just in a different season.

‎Life do not go on a straight line; it is a cycle. Some seasons are designed to stretch you, drill you deep into wisdom, and test your roots. Others are for gathering, reward, and visible harvest. What truly matters isn’t rushing the clock, but learning the specific lesson that your current season was sent to teach you.

‎In Yoruba philosophy, life is understood through the symbolic movement of the day: Àárọ̀ (Morning), Ọ̀sán (Afternoon), and Ìrọ̀lẹ́ (Evening). These aren’t just hours on a clock; they are stages of life and becoming.

‎Morning (The Season of Self-Discovery): This is the stage of awakening and preparation. It’s often uncomfortable because it’s filled with questions: *Who am I? What am I meant to do? It’s a time of inner searching that prioritizes clarity over speed and identity before achievement.

‎Afternoon (The Season of Persistence): This is where effort meets reality. It is the season of trying, failing, adjusting, and trying again. Many people feel “stuck” here because the work is hard but the results aren’t yet visible. This season isn’t about the harvest; it’s about building the endurance and discipline required to handle it.

‎Evening (The Season of Gathering and Refinement):For some, this is a visible harvest. For others, it’s a time of continued labor but with greater wisdom and structure. It is the moment where the “why” of the morning and the “how” of the afternoon finally clicks into place.

‎A popular Man of God once said, “God did not bring you this far to dump you.” What feels like a setback is often deep preparation. What feels like silence is often preservation.

As the year 2025 draws to a close, reflection becomes both natural and necessary.

It is a time to pause, to look back honestly, and to acknowledge the journey that has unfolded over the past months.

For many of us, this year came with its fair share of highs and lows, moments of excitement and progress, as well as seasons of uncertainty, delay, and quiet struggle. Yet through it all, one thing remains clear: there is still so much to be grateful for.

When we reminisce on the year, gratitude should be our starting point. Gratitude for life, for strength, for lessons learned, and for the grace that carried us through moments we didn’t think we would survive. Not every plan worked out the way we imagined, and not every goal was achieved on schedule, but the

fact that we are still standing, still learning, and still dreaming is worth celebrating.

This year demanded resilience. It required patience in moments when progress felt slow and faith in seasons when the future looked uncertain. Looking back now, it has become evident that even the challenges played a role in shaping growth. There were opportunities that came unexpectedly, ideas that surfaced without warning, and experiences that stretched capacity in ways that could not have been planned.

This is why reflection is important. It invites us to go back to our journals, our vision boards, and our quiet thoughts.

Reflection is not about regret; it is about awareness. It is about recognizing progress, however small, and appreciating the courage it took to keep going.

One powerful truth to remember as the year ends is this: your dreams are still very much alive. It is not too late. You are not behind. And most importantly, it is not over yet.

As you go into 2026, have it in mind that your dreams are not too big. It’s very okay for the size of your dreams to scare you, but it should be your motivation to go for it all. You can achieve anything so far you set your mind to it.

However, dreaming alone is not enough. Planning and imagining are important, but execution is what turns intention into impact. Greatness is often defined not by how big a dream is, but by the willingness to act on it. As we prepare to step into 2026, it is important not only to reflect but also to plan intentionally. The coming year should be approached with clarity, not pressure. Be careful not to make decisions from a place of pressure.

Make sure to document this vision. Imagination is a God-given gift that allows us to see beyond our present reality. Writing your vision down gives it direction and structure. Journal your goals, dreams, and expectations for the year ahead.

Do the Research. We live in a global village. Someone has walked a similar path before you. Research equips you with knowledge, saves time, and strengthens confidence.

Start Small, Stay Consistent. Big dreams often start with small steps. Do not despise small beginnings. Consistency is the bridge between intention and achievement.

As this year comes to an end, choose hope over fear and gratitude over regret. Celebrate how far you have come, even if the journey is not complete. Keep your dreams alive. Plan with intention.

Move forward with confidence, because it’s not over yet. You’re only just getting started.

Years ago, I wrote ‘Santorini’. A story about grief and revenge.
There was a time on Twitter that it seemed like Santorini paid people to advertise. It was all over. Anytime i blinked, i saw Santorini.
That was how i came up with the story. I imagined using the pictures i saw and gradually, an idea was formed.

That’s an irony, it’s not actually snowing in Nigeria but in the spirit of inclusivity, our readers far and wide, in countries that snow is falling and in countries that dust is falling or rain in fact.
It’s still Christmas and the song still applies.
Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you feel my excitement?
I’m starting with a question, What does Christmas mean to you? I would really love to know. You can share it in the comments or you could just answer it in your mind.
We were all brought up differently, we’ve gone through different experiences so we can’t possibly think the same exact way. What it means to me may mean the exact opposite to you.
Christmas is my most favorite season/holiday. Even if the Christmas spirit here is dying faster than someone running from a rabid dog, I still love it. I love being with family, I love the movies, I love the songs, the carols, I love that it means Jesus, my friend and savior was born. I love how it makes me feel and I wouldn’t trade that feeling for anything.
I also love the chicken 😂
I wanted to share a Christmas story with you all today but I changed my mind last minute and decided to write from my heart.
I won’t leave you with a question, I’ll leave you with this word. Gratitude.
If you aren’t with family today, if you’re working, if you’re going through tough times and if today wasnt what you expected. You’re probably seeing a lot of pictures and videos of people celebrating Christmas or doing what you imagined doing. You’re seeing the matching pyjamas photoshoots and shouting ‘God when‘😂. You’re seeing the snow and the Christmas lights and still shouting ‘God when‘ . Remember something; Things won’t always stay this way. There will be a time you won’t even remember how you felt today. One thing I’ve come to realize in life is that there’s no situation that is permanent. I also have dreams , I have my moments and It took me a while to understand it but I finally accepted it and became my principle. What you always dreamed of, what you always prayed for, you’ll get it one day. I don’t know the exact day but it will come. Everything good will come.
Stay positive, stay prayerful, stay believing. The amazing God who started his wonders in your life will be there to complete it.

It’s so surreal that Olive Branch is 5 today and its been a long time coming. We knew we wanted this from the beginning but along the line, there were ups and downs that we did not envisage. Numerous setbacks, balancing it with medical school but we pushed through and found a way to balance it.
We are in another phase of our lives where we thought we were prepared for but nothing prepares you for Housejob 😂

The olive branch is 5 today and to be honest it seemed like just yesterday that Ayo and Esther came up with the idea, with the aim of imbibing the spirit of writing again and as always I was here to support, and since the idea came up five years ago we’ve tried to keep up the blog along with the phases we were going through in our lives, medical school and now house job, honestly I would say the blog sometimes gives us  the olive branch too. Because we tend to be warped in every other thing but whenever we remember it, we get this hope again like we have something that we’re doing that we enjoy and that will be big one day. We have so many plans for the blog, so many ideas for expansion and by Gods grace this year, we are rebranding💃🎊and this time we would try to accommodate the blog in our new lives as doctors no matter how difficult it might seem, because it’s ours and we would always make time for what we love. As we turn 5, we want to share with you all the true essence of Olive branch. We didn’t start it for profit. We started it because we needed an outlet and a medium to spread love, kindness and peace through art. Every other thing is just extra.
We had chances to give up. Life never truly prepares you for the challenges you meet along the line. Each challenge seemed bigger than the other and they always seemed to compete for our time but we decided not to stop no matter what.
We want you to understand that we are on a journey, a process that isn’t to be rushed but to be understood.
As long as we are touching lives in our little way, making you happy with the fictional stories, encouraging single people, talking about our lives and sharing the work of people who want you to feel their stories. As long as we are doing that, then TOB lives.

Breathe.

Be patient with your journey.That’s where I’m going to start.

Be patient with where you are going or where you are now.

The journey entails alot. There is anger, pain, disappointment, surprises, betrayals, love, peace, loneliness, success, solitude, progression and stagnancy. That’s a whole lot.

As I write to you, I want you to also know I don’t have it all together. I am also learning like you. I’m also reading posts like this to encourage me.
And for me, I don’t have the luxury of having to tell so many people what goes on in my head all the time mostly because it’s difficult to express myself by speaking to people. So I write the entire journey of what goes on in my head.
I get tired too, I want to give up. I want to progress. I want to stop trying. I want to move on. I want to explore. I want to be hidden. I don’t feel like socializing. I want to meet new people.
Just a lot of different feelings popping in your head like popcorns in the microwave.
You see your friends moving forward and achieving a lot and you’re happy for them(genuinely) then in the little corner of your mind, you’re reminded of your own lack of achievements. You’re reminded that you haven’t accomplished anything in the last 2 to 4 years and even when people tell you “As far as you’re alive, it’s an accomplishment”, it still doesn’t uplift your spirit.
You want to graduate, you want to get a career changing job, you want to get married, you want to have kids, you want to start that business and you want your whole world to see that you aren’t a failure after all.
I don’t know how to make you understand it but listen to me, take it easy on yourself. You’re just going to burn out if you continue to weigh yourself down.

Do you celebrate your little wins or all you remember are the times people called you names? Do you count your little wins or all you remember are the people who left you behind. I don’t blame you because I don’t blame myself either. It’s human nature to remember mostly the negatives.
I’m learning to celebrate my wins no matter how funny they sound or how tiny they look. Even if it’s being able to complete 30 days of a fitness challenge or being able to pass a level in candy crush. Those “tiny” wins I celebrate with myself have been giving me more happiness than ever.
     Why do I need to compare my journey with another? We have different destinations though or you don’t believe it. Ask someone close to you that you think is achieving much more than you and you’ll be surprised with the answer.
Although, social media doesn’t help so much. It has made a lot of people to think everyone is living a picture perfect life and that’s why your heart breaks when you hear a certain celebrity committed suicide or is getting a divorce.
  Everyone is going through their own process, remember that. I want you today to try to engage in mindful living. Be aware of your surroundings, your nature. Every single detail. The birds that come to your yard to eat leftovers every 6pm or the ones that come at 7am to sing by your window. Just sit and observe. Look and feel. Take that time off social media, Inhale that fresh air and it will give you joy.
Don’t dampen your mood by remembering the mistakes you made in the past. Noone is above mistakes.Enjoy the goodness of this earth my friend and be patient with yourself and your journey. You’ll get there no matter what those voices say, no matter how long it takes, you will get there. Take it from me and like the Good book(my best book) says:
  “So my counsel is: Don’t worry about things—food, drink, and clothes. For you already have life and a body—and they are far more important than what to eat and wear.
  Look at the birds! They don’t worry about what to eat—they don’t need to sow or reap or store up food—for your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than they are. Will all your worries add a single moment to your life? “And why worry about your clothes? Look at the field lilies! They don’t worry about theirs. 
  Yet King Solomon in all his glory was not clothed as beautifully as they. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won’t he more surely care for you, O men of little faith? “So don’t worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.
