It’s so surreal that Olive Branch is 5 today and its been a long time coming. We knew we wanted this from the beginning but along the line, there were ups and downs that we did not envisage. Numerous setbacks, balancing it with medical school but we pushed through and found a way to balance it.
We are in another phase of our lives where we thought we were prepared for but nothing prepares you for Housejob 😂

The olive branch is 5 today and to be honest it seemed like just yesterday that Ayo and Esther came up with the idea, with the aim of imbibing the spirit of writing again and as always I was here to support, and since the idea came up five years ago we’ve tried to keep up the blog along with the phases we were going through in our lives, medical school and now house job, honestly I would say the blog sometimes gives us  the olive branch too. Because we tend to be warped in every other thing but whenever we remember it, we get this hope again like we have something that we’re doing that we enjoy and that will be big one day. We have so many plans for the blog, so many ideas for expansion and by Gods grace this year, we are rebranding💃🎊and this time we would try to accommodate the blog in our new lives as doctors no matter how difficult it might seem, because it’s ours and we would always make time for what we love. So as olive branch clocks a new year today I would like to say welcome everyone to a new, better and bigger olive branch and thank you for always supporting the blog.

5! What a number.
It’s been 5 years of an amazing journey.  For those that started with us, you know how far we’ve come.
Those that joined along the line and the future subscribers, we just want to say thank you.
Thank you for the comments, for sharing, for the likes, for the advice, for the encouragement. Thank you.
As we turn 5, we want to share with you all the true essence of Olive branch. We didn’t start it for profit. We started it because we needed an outlet and a medium to spread love, kindness and peace through art. Every other thing is just extra.
We had chances to give up. Life never truly prepares you for the challenges you meet along the line. Each challenge seemed bigger than the other and they always seemed to compete for our time but we decided not to stop no matter what.
We want you to understand that we are on a journey, a process that isn’t to be rushed but to be understood.
As long as we are touching lives in our little way, making you happy with the fictional stories, encouraging single people, talking about our lives and sharing the work of people who want you to feel their stories. As long as we are doing that, then TOB lives.
