THE MAKING OF A WIFE 7
I am happy to be back again. Our subject, for a while now, has been on the art of making a wife. We have been examining those critical indicators that mark out a woman as unqualified for the role of a wife at home. In the November edition, I shared with you lack of submission as an ungodly character in today’s Christian women which makes most Christian marriages burdensome, challenging and unsuccessful. In this edition, I will conclude by looking at another, very critical and significant fact that will make a woman unqualified to be a wife material.
Wrong Spirit: The spirit that a woman has will determine her personality ultimately. A woman with the right spirit has the tendency to be a good wife, while a woman with the wrong spirit will be as rottenness in the bones of her husband. Such a marriage will be disastrous and calamitous. 2 Corinthians 3:17 says “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” So, a woman with the wrong evil spirit in the home will bring bondage and slavery into the family and everybody will be groaning under her oppression.
A woman with the right spirit will have the Spirit of God, and she will be controlled by Him, but a woman with the wrong spirit will have the spirit of the devil. And so, her actions and conducts will be controlled by the devil. Marriage is ordained by God. It is a divine institution, and it is expected to be run by the Spirit of God who will guide us according to God’s management manual on marriage. Just as the shrines of idols are organized and governed by the edicts and ethics of the idols, God’s own marriage institution is to be run and managed according to God’s divine order.
Women, who have the wrong spirits, are therefore not qualified to be part of that sacred institution except they are born again and delivered by the power of God. There are a lot of sisters in the body of Christ today who have the wrong spirits, and are thus praying to God to give them their future husbands. Of course, such women do find husbands but they will never be wives but vipers and the wipers of their husbands’ destiny and glory. Jezebel, the wife King Ahab in the Bible had the witchcraft spirit as well as the spirit of whoredom- II Kings 9:22. In I Kings 21:25, the Bible says, she stirred up her husband to do evil. The Bible describes such women as evil in Proverbs 6:24.
Don’t be surprised that there are sisters who have witchcraft spirits and the spirit of whoredom in the Church today, and who are desperately looking husbands. Such women are not wife materials. Men who enter into their hands are in real trouble. When Samson entered into Delilah’s laps, he never survived it. Rather, he lost his sight, ministry and destiny. Eventually, he died. He lost everything. Jezebels and Delilahs are on the pews in the Church waiting for men to take home as husbands.
Such women have the wrong spirits, and they are no meant to be married. There are sisters with marine and familiar spirits who are waiting for their husbands to come. Some of these sisters have covenants with untimely death, barrenness, misfortunes, calamities and marital failures which, some of them, are aware of. A woman with the wrong spirit will give you a wrong marriage. These women are never wife materials, and they should not be taken to the altar unless they are thoroughly delivered by the power of God.
A woman with the wrong spirit, if allowed to marry, will eventually kill the man because she has the wrong spirit that is opposed to the Spirit of God. Some of the physical manifestations of women with the wrong spirits include these:
- Extreme cruelness and wickedness.
- Unforgiving, revengeful and vindictive.
- Stubborn, rebellious, domineering.
- Delight in manipulating and controlling others.
- Boastful, curious, secretive.
The spiritual manifestations include the following:
- Delight in sucking blood and eating the flesh of their victims
- Regular flying in the dream
- Ability to see into the realm of the spirit.
- With their psychic powers, they can enter anywhere and at any time. They can only be restrained by the power of God.
- Hold meetings in dark and strange places.
That is why the choice of life partners requires adequate prayers, caution and guidance of the Holy Spirit. A lot of people today are married to their enemies instead of being married to their friends. The difference is the spirit in the person. What spirit is in you? If you have the wrong spirit, go for deliverance and the Lord will set you free. If you really want to be a wife of choice, then have the right spirit. A woman with the wrong spirit is certainly not a material for the altar. She should not even contemplate getting married.
The Lord will give you your destiny husband and destiny wife with the right spirit. And any attempt being made by the devil to manipulate you to marry the wrong partner, it shall not stand. See you in 2018, God willing.
