I’m sorry I loved you, it won’t happen again
I’m sorry that I came too close, now I know my place
Can’t believe that once you were all I thought of
Now I’m at this emotional cliff, hoping that I jump off
I used to think twice before I caught feelings
But you came in and messed up my sequence
From my last mistake, I thought I’m back and better
We started talking and I realised I’m such a poser
Now you’re this drug I’m addicted to
This bad habit I cannot break from
This sweet body pain I can’t stop poking
You were my everything and more
But in your books, I’m nothing but a good score
I really wish I could wish you well
Wish that you and I both find someone else
But I know the truth
You’re the best I’ll ever do
In the future, I’m probably going to settle for someone less.
