”This is just a quick one composed in a state of despair. We all have that moment when nothing seems to go right. Well, this is one of such moments for me. I’ve learnt these past few months the meaning of resilience, of pushing on when it’s dreadful out there and I’m not done with the course yet. I wrote STRENGTH to draw strength as I need to trudge on. I hope this serves as an inspiration for you as it has for me”😘
STRENGTH
I didn’t come this far to fail
You didn’t open doors
To shut them in my face
You shouldn’t be pleased
To see me this way
You threw stones at me
They hit me, my temple, my heart
I bled
I cried
You stood behind and laughed
It’s a trap, I feel it
It’s a test
I will, I must excel
I will find my own strength
I didn’t come this far to fail.
