Happy Monday!!!This is another feature by Emmanuel Ashaolu. His first feature was The Poet. I was so stunned by the intelligence in this write up and come to think of this, Emmanuel said his inspiration was when he observed two of his friends argue ( talk about deep minds). He is sharing this poem with the hope that people can relate or enjoy it. I enjoyed it so please Read ,Share and Comment.
The Observer
I’ve been given new pair of eyes
A humble tongue that never dominates any conversation
I’ve been given an enlightened mind that’s neutral to what really is wrong or right
But I am no judge, I am an observer
I’m the bystander, the witness
I am being designed to speak for all, to speak for none
I’m the mediator but linked to no party
I am the silence that listens
I am me, I am calm
I’m captivating
I resonate with varying perspectives
But stand for none
But these would define God
But I am no god
I am human, but not human enough
