Hey guys!!! This is a new feature by Tanya Asapokhai(@tanya_asap) and She wrote it because of how she was feeling at the time and she knew some females would relate. The poem is a very interesting one and actually speaking about what females go through nowadays. Merry Christmas in advance, please enjoy, comment, share and subscribe.
Fed up
She was fed up.
Fed up because it was the same unending circle the same shit happening over and over again.
She was fed up.
Tired of thinking that something was wrong with her, tired of thinking she was not worth more than what she was getting, tired of thinking she didn’t deserve more.
She was fed up.
Tired of thinking she wasn’t pretty enough, tired of thinking she wasn’t skinny enough, or fat enough, tired of being angry that God didn’t make her look like what we call beautiful these days.
She was fed up.
Tired of giving them the benefit of a doubt, tired of giving and not receiving back, tired of mending the heart that kept on getting used and abused, the heart that kept on getting played with like a worthless toy
She was fed up.
Tired of people telling her she wasn’t the problem, tired of people telling her she’ll find the right one, tired of people telling her she’ll be fine, “there are better people out there”, “you’re a strong independent woman”.
She was fed up.
This woman was tired of hearing the same lines. “I’m not like the others”, “I’ll be there for you”, blah blah blah. she was tired of watching them leave without a valid reason or no reason at all.
She was fed up.
Tired of waking up with red swollen eyes because she cried herself to sleep as usual, tired of kneeling down to pray for someone that would treat her right.
She was fed up.
Fed up because this tired sad broken woman will still fall for the same shit over and over again.
