Happy Christmas to you all! May the joy that accompanied the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ fill your heart and remain with you forever.
Welcome to the December edition of our Singles World. This is the last edition for the year 2020. We will answer more questions on the dreams that our singles had which were revelations about their relationships and marital lives. May the Lord enlighten our hearts and open our eyes in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Question: I saw myself in a dream that I was attending an engagement ceremony with my fiancé that is, the guy that I was dating. Later, they brought me out, and I sat with my partner. Not quite long, I saw my partner falling down. Please, I don’t understand the dream.
Answer: The Lord is showing you in the dream that your marriage will have a major hitch. There is no engagement if your partner has fallen down. The fall is a sign that your marriage will have a major problem, and your fiancé looks like the target. If your partner is taken away from you, that is the end of the engagement and the relationship.
You will have to be involved in aggressive prayers and pray against all the powers of darkness working against your relationship and marital life. Also, check if the man is the will of God for your life. God may not want you to marry him, and if he is the will of God for your life, you need prayers so that something disastrous will not happen.
Question: What about people that only dream about the films that they watch but they do not have natural dreams?
Answer: Dreams are some of the avenues through which God speaks to us. In Job 33:14-15, the Bible says “For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumbering upon the bed.” In Matthew Chapter 2, the Lord spoke to Joseph in a dream through His angel to take the young child and flee to Egypt. God can also speak to us through other avenues such as His Word, Godly counsel, Circumstances of life and so on.
Just as God can speak to us through dreams, the devil can also use the same medium. If you are born again and you are very spiritual, you will be able to discern between the dreams that come from God and the ones that come from the devil. So, if you don’t dream naturally, something is wrong. The devil is cheating you. If you only dream about the films that you watch, it is dangerous for you. If you watch an ungodly film, it means you will dream about it. You are what you watch. You can be possessed and be polluted if you watch ungodly films.
Your eyes and ears are spirituals gates for demonic possession. So, take heed what you see and what you hear. Luke 8:18 says “Take heed therefore how ye hear…” What you see and what you hear can affect your heart and when your heart is affected, your faith will be destroyed. Stop watching ungodly films. Spend more time with the reading of the Word of God. Meditate on it regularly. Read good Christian books and pray vigorously against every demonic attack against your dream life. You need to move out of sensuality into spirituality. The Lord will help you.
Question: I dream once in a while and whatever I dream about either good or bad comes to pass.
Answer: Dreams are divine windows to the spiritual realm to enable you to see the plans of God as well as the plans of the devil. God can warn, inform, rebuke and instruct you through dreams. When God reveals the plans of the devil to you, it is not a death sentence. In 2 Kings 20, God told Hezekiah that he was going to die. He asked him to get ready to die but Hezekiah prayed and God added 15 years to his age. The death sentence was cancelled.
God is not saying that He is just informing you and that it will come to pass whether you like it or not. He informs you so that you can pray against it and take the necessary precautions. Of course, God can inform you about some unavoidable evils that may come to pass irrespective of your interventions but it will not be all the time. Amos 3:7 says “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” So, if all your bad dreams come to pass regardless of your prayers, then something is wrong. And if all your good dreams come to pass notwithstanding your actions, then something must be wrong. For instance, if God says you are going to make First Class and you refuse to read and go for lectures, yet, the dream comes to pass you must know that something is demonic about it. It is not a miracle and God is not a magician.
For instance, if you dream that your guardian dies and you are still in the 200 level in university, and so, no matter the prayers that you offer and the precautions that your guardian puts in place, he still dies, something is not right, please.
It is either you are demon possessed or you are a dangerous ‘prophet.’ People will naturally run away from you. Check it! You may have a familiar spirit. Try and go for deliverance or else you will be living in fear continually. And if you are not born again, give your life to Jesus Christ today and He will set you free.
Prayers:
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I decree that the habitation of the enemies of your marriage be desolate. I set ablaze any demonic bulwark or embankment put in place by the kingdom of darkness to hinder you from getting married in the name of Jesus Christ. I dismantle and I pull down all the strongholds of the devil against your marriage in the name of Jesus Christ. Every evil and fearful dream that you have had concerning your marriage that is determined to come to pass is aborted and terminated now and forever in the name of Jesus Christ. Every demonic and physical hindrance preventing you from getting married be evacuated now. Every delay from the kingdom of Satan to frustrate your relationship and your marital life be removed by fire in the name of Jesus Christ. You will not be manipulated to marry the wrong partner. You will not be deceived into marrying your enemy. You will not be blind into marrying the devil’s choice. You will not be put to shame. You will be fulfilled. You will have a testimony in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
