2 years and it seems like 5 years. Olive branch has achieved more than we ever thought we could in just 2 years. We are still thankful each and every single day to God, our writers and our readers. The blog would be not without these three. It’s really amazing the sort of impact you can make in your own little corner.
Which is why we have decided to be more vocal and hands on about the things that really matter now. We are going to be focusing and pooling all our attention on situations that are affecting the world; Poverty, good health, peace, human rights, justice and so much more. To achieve peace has always been our end game and we now believe it’s time to pursue it more.
We want your contributions, your ideas and your opinions no matter how small. This is another new beginning for us and we want to take it to a better and higher level and we need level headed and focused people to join us on this journey.
Alot of us are still not sure what we want to do or be. We are still unsure about our purpose and time is actually running out. But here’s an encouraging word, discover your purpose.
What did God create you for? Why did he decide to give you a chance on earth. There was a reason for it and you know it. Deep down, it’s stirring within you but you have ignored it and pushed it down. That thing you always imagine yourself doing all the time, that stage you always imagine yourself on, speaking or singing or acting. It keeps ringing in your brain and it keeps getting more and more and almost reveals itself at any given chance but you do two things. You either let it show itself or you suppress it.
That’s your purpose. Please do not suppress it. Give it an opportunity. People are waiting to see it. You might not know but people actually are. We weren’t so sure we wanted to start a blog. We were interested in so many other things but we later discovered that the blog was our starting point. Although There’s still a long way to go with so much to do but we knew the path we wanted to tread on. Individually, we discovered our purpose and they aligned together.
Wherever you are, whatever you do, whatever you have gone through, This is your matchstick. About to light up that fire in you. Go out there and find your meaning. The Olive branch is rooting for you.
