Hello guys, Happy new month in advance!!! We sometimes have low moments in our lives which weighs us down so much. Here’s a little encouragement from me. Read, share , comment and subscribe.

Most of us can admit that there are instances in our lives when we feel so low and so sad, out of place, lonely like nobody cares about us (which is not true ), worthless and we don’t see things getting better, nothing seems to interest us. You are not even motivated to do anything. All you want to do is to keep staring into space looking for God knows what. Then, whenever you wake up, you just want to lie on your bed all day and not seeing the day as a bright new day to do something useful. There’s a vacuum you want to be filled up.
You say life is purposeless. Or that life is just weighing on you and you feel like there’s no way out! You are really vast in the scriptures. You know that things are going to get better but at the same time, you’re like, God why?
Know this; the Devil doesn’t want you to be happy. He loves to see you sad, and it’s a war that we need to fight seriously. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and power… And never give place to the devil, don’t him a foothold in your life.
Enough with how you’ve felt at that point in time.
This is a weakening condition that makes it impossible for you to enjoy your daily existence.
Now what’s the way forward?
1. Pray
Pray always and talk to God. He’s your friend; just tell Him how you feel. He’s always there to listen to you. When He promised to be with you always He meant it (Matt28:20). He can hear your voice even your whispers, even what you’ve not voiced out. He will answer you. Don’t give up. Don’t stop. Fight this battle once. God has your interest in heart but then do everything to remain his child. Abide in him, resist and flee every temptation.
2. Practice positivity and read the word of God.
Focus on the present and always look at the brighter side in everything you do. Negative thoughts cycle reinforces misery and is not helpful in managing being low. Good things are ahead. If you practise positivity, you will think more positively. Fill your mind with the word of God. It inspires hope, reach out for it today.
3. Listen to good Music.
Music as they say is food for the soul. A very nice and lively one can change the atmosphere instantly and create a more positive vibe. This alters brain chemistry and can improve your mood.
4. No Negative Talk
Monitor your thoughts seriously especially when you feel really low. Acknowledge them but don’t believe in them.
5. Improve Your Appearance
Work on looking good. Have self-confidence and a good self-esteem.
6. Write in a Journal
Writing in a journal helps you pour out your emotions, fears and worries and you can also write about things you are grateful for. This helps you to see the good side of life. Just write about anything that happened that day. Pour down your heart to God. It helps.
7. Connect With Friends
Having friends I mean really good ones is something to be grateful for. They are people you can rely on and make you happy. Force yourself to go out. It will have a nice effect on you.
8. Get Enough Sleep
Adequate sleep in rejuvenating, refreshing and therapeutic. It is a blessing from God.
9. Forgive Others
This goes a long way. Holding grudges imposes a load on you. Let it go and you will feel better. Holding grudges against someone has been described as when one keeps a garbage bin inside one’s bedroom. You can imagine the stench that the person will be exposed to daily which will be injurious to his or her health. So, forgiveness keeps you healthy.
10. Don’t give up.
You will surely overcome. It’s just a phase
I have had my own episodes of feeling low. My friends and my close relatives have also had theirs. The beauty of it is that we overcame. Whenever you feel low just know this that, You can because you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. We are blessed to have a God that does not desert his Children. Make sure you are His Child.
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation. Psalm 42:5(KJV)
Why are you down in the dumps dear soul? Fix my eyes join God soon I’ll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face . He’s my God Psalm 42:5 (MSG)
